In between looking for new projects, I dove into
After wrapping up my time at Dispo, I began preparing to interview at other companies. In the time that I chalked out for it, Peachy Patients reached out to me to work on Peachy Patients’ Billing and Audit log. I would also be in charge of componentizing and designing select components for Peachy.
Shifting away from design system updates, we began feature development.
As the project progressed, we lapsed into the second phase of designing the administrative Billing and Audit log. This feature was one of the first proposals I received during my initial conversations with Peachy’s CEO, CTO, and design director. In those early discussions, I was provided references of what competing asset management companies were offering the administrative side and consumer side of their products. With a rough idea in mind of what they were looking for, Peachy’s design director relayed his vision to me and we got to iterating shortly after.
High-speed iterations were the name of the game for the Audit and Billing Log feature creation.
We cycled through the phases of iteration at a higher-than-average speed, but didn’t sacrifice any requirements for the feature’s desired outcomes. After the final round of iterations completed, I received an approval and began handoff and implementation.
Implementation and launching features at Peachy was a highly-involved process.
Implementation is a fairly involved process for designers and engineers and this was no exception. Remaining involved at every point of implementation without stepping on toes, I guided Peachy’s engineers to successfully translate our designs into a fully functioning feature of Peachy Patients’ experience.
